ANSWERED Eddie won't quit

I've been having trouble with Eddie the last couple of days, trying to exit. Force-quitting on my Mac caused problems with my DNS settings I think - couldn't connect to the Internet at all. Version is 2.18.9 - can't even shut down my computer tonight because of the problem. Is there an update available to fix this bug or what should I try? Thanks.

Have you tried forcing an unexpected reboot?
Seriously, just turn it off and on again. DNS and NetLock will be reset.
If it still continues on, in Eddie's Logs tab, click the lifebelt icon and paste or upload the output here. If you choose to paste it, consider using LOG format, it's the top left button in the post editor.

That lifebelt tab (finally found the main window menu item) only shows data from this morning's log on. I force quit Eddie after 10 hours of it being frozen on Exit, and my Internet seems to be OK this morning. This is FYI for the development team - I would think they'd want to know about bugs and crashes.

The system report does not only encompass logs, it includes other information about your system as well, which was the nature of my request.

Yes, but it's hardly a bug if there is no info about it. Just because a user feels it's a bug doesn't mean it is one. I believe it's not a software bug but something with your system.
