Eddie needs to reconnect upon login after system sleep

Eddie (latest) needs to reconnect (automatically) every time i login after a system sleep. Recently installed on new macbook, Catalina. Please advise a solution.

Hello!

It sounds normal. During sleep network interface card is turned off and applications are frozen.

Eddie is reconnecting every few minutes after computer is idle, but has not gone to sleep. This is new behaviour. Do you have a solution?

I have the same issue actually - when I wake up my Mac from sleep, Eddie takes a while to reconnect to the VPN-server. During this time, I'm online via my ISP's IP. Is the only solution to activate network lock?

Edit: Activating network seems to have fixed it, should have tried that before leaving a comment! Sorry about that.
