Hummingbird TUN Error

The fix is to create the TUN device node.
mkdir -p /dev/net
mknod /dev/net/tun c 10 200

Can this be integrated into Hummingbird by default in some fashion?

Wouldn't a pre-up script suffice? I'm reading it the first time ever that /dev/net/tun does not exist, so I believe it's a niche problem.
