Phoenix3 3 Posted ... Hi, On Linux, I see on the Netspeed applet packets sent and received when Eddie is disconnected while the Network lock is active. Is this expected behaviour? I took a look at the packets coming in and I see xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx.compute-1.amazonaws.com.https > username.48656 What method can I use to verify Network lock is working as expected? BlueBanana 39 Posted ... Hi, the issue about the Amazon Web Services has been adressed in this thread: With Network Lock enabled, you should have no Internet Connection. You can, for example, open a terminal and enter: ping 8.8.8.8 and the output should be something like "Operation not permitted". Or you open your browser and you should not be able to reach any web sites. Regards BB. Phoenix3 3 Posted ... Hi, Thanks for the link. Remains the question: why does my system send and receive packets, according to tcpdump, while network lock is on and disconnected from AirVPN. Should I not be receiving zero packets in that instance? If yes, what steps to undertake to remedy. Thanks Quote Share this post Link to post
