utorrent webui

I followed the instructions to get utorrent working (forward port, turn of upnp, etc.) and everything seems to be works...

Except, for some reason, I cant access the webui remotely. I can access from within my lan, so I know it is working.

I was under the assumption if I take the info from AirVPN

"You are visible from the Internet with IP 69.163.36.67"

and attach my forwarded port after it, I should be able to see the webui. Am I misunderstanding something? I don't think it's a windows firewall issue because I shut it off and it still didn't work.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Can someone give me some advice on getting the utorrent webui working. I thought if I just forwarded a port to it I should be able to connect with

http://<my external ip>:<my forwarded port>.

For some reason this doesn't seem to work. Everything else is working like a champ, but not this.

According to uTorrent documentation, you should be able to reach the WebUI at the following address:

http://Username:Password@<Air server exit-IP>:<port>/gui

http://www.utorrent.com/help/guides/webui
