Eddie disconnects several times a day and it seems to go into a startup loop. Im trying to figure out what is causeing it.

the error that pops up says
the requested protocol has not been configured into the system,or no implementation for it exist.

i have tried turning off auto in protocol and manually selected different ones and all.

even did a complete reinstall.

im using version 2.17.2.
and windows 10.

Detected DNS: 1.1.1.1, 8.8.8.8

@bradcox5975
Why are you using Google DNS & CloudFlare DNS on your VPN adapter/connection?
Any particular reason for this?
Use OpenNIC or UncensoredDNS.

That IP is used for Virtual mode.

From Amazon....Duckduckgo search--->>https://duckduckgo.com/?q=erx+router&t=ffab&atb=v180-4_j&ia=web
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So, in summary the EdgeRouter X is a great router for most applications today, but it apparently can't process data at gigabit data rates.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6) Save settings and reboot the router 7) Plug PC into ETH1 while router is rebooting 😎 Plug modem into ETH0 while router is rebooting 9) Set PC back to DHCP, automatic IP address 10) Let ERX boot back up and reconnect, sometimes I had to disable and re enable LAN connection in windows 10 in order to connect back to 192.168.1.1

Use native OpenVPN if Eddie app doesn't work for you. Sad but it does happen.
https://openvpn.net/community-downloads/
Install Comodo A/V & Firewall.
https://www.comodo.com/home/internet-security/firewall.php?track=14594&af=14594
Install 9.23.x for Windows 10.
tap-windows-9.23.3-I601-Win10.exe.zip
Grab the Comodo Configuration File(Below).
You will have to change IP/MAC addresses etc. as per your OS config.
*Disable Windows Firewall Private/Public.
*Close/Shutdown your torrent client while your doing the above*

I prefer Uncensoreddns -->> https://blog.uncensoreddns.org/dns-servers/

I now use 2 routers(dd-wrt/tomato AirVPN connected) for DNS.

I use UncensoredDNS on the road.
The 2 routers for the home network.
Google DNS Cloudflare DNS or OpenDNS NOT RECOMMENDED.
I'd rather let you decide on the DNS provider.

Flx
