vector2012 0 Posted ... Got home today and tried to connect to all of the vpn servers. I am able to login successfully, but then when I attempt to connect to one of the servers, it just tries to connect forever. I have copied the logs from the client. This is the only computer that I connect with and it has worked wonderfully up until today. Please let me know what you think. This computer is quite literally only for using with Airvpn. 9/14/2012 - 11:00 PM AirVPN client version: 1.7 9/14/2012 - 11:00 PM Reading options from C:\Users\HTPC\AppData\Roaming\AirVPN\Air\1.0.0.0\AirVPN.xml 9/14/2012 - 11:00 PM OpenVPN bundle version: OpenVPN 2.2.2 9/14/2012 - 11:00 PM OpenVPN current version: OpenVPN 2.2.2 9/14/2012 - 11:00 PM Ready. 9/14/2012 - 11:00 PM Login... 9/14/2012 - 11:00 PM Login success. 9/14/2012 - 11:01 PM Contacting service... 9/14/2012 - 11:01 PM Connecting... 9/14/2012 - 11:01 PM OpenVPN 2.2.2 Win32-MSVC++ [sSL] [LZO2] [PKCS11] built on Dec 15 2011 9/14/2012 - 11:01 PM NOTE: OpenVPN 2.1 requires '--script-security 2' or higher to call user-defined scripts or executables 9/14/2012 - 11:01 PM LZO compression initialized 9/14/2012 - 11:01 PM Control Channel MTU parms [ L:1558 D:138 EF:38 EB:0 ET:0 EL:0 ] 9/14/2012 - 11:01 PM Socket Buffers: R=[8192->8192] S=[8192->8192] 9/14/2012 - 11:01 PM Data Channel MTU parms [ L:1558 D:1450 EF:58 EB:135 ET:0 EL:0 AF:3/1 ] 9/14/2012 - 11:01 PM Local Options hash (VER=V4): '22188c5b' 9/14/2012 - 11:01 PM Expected Remote Options hash (VER=V4): 'a8f55717' 9/14/2012 - 11:01 PM UDPv4 link local: [undef] 9/14/2012 - 11:01 PM UDPv4 link remote: 95.211.191.33:443 9/14/2012 - 11:01 PM TLS: Initial packet from 95.211.191.33:443, sid=5207987c 26bf36bc 9/14/2012 - 11:02 PM TLS Error: TLS key negotiation failed to occur within 60 seconds (check your network connectivity) 9/14/2012 - 11:02 PM TLS Error: TLS handshake failed 9/14/2012 - 11:02 PM TCP/UDP: Closing socket 9/14/2012 - 11:02 PM SIGUSR1[soft,tls-error] received, process restarting 9/14/2012 - 11:02 PM Restart pause, 2 second(s) 9/14/2012 - 11:02 PM NOTE: OpenVPN 2.1 requires '--script-security 2' or higher to call user-defined scripts or executables 9/14/2012 - 11:02 PM LZO compression initialized 9/14/2012 - 11:02 PM Control Channel MTU parms [ L:1558 D:138 EF:38 EB:0 ET:0 EL:0 ] 9/14/2012 - 11:02 PM Socket Buffers: R=[8192->8192] S=[8192->8192] 9/14/2012 - 11:02 PM Data Channel MTU parms [ L:1558 D:1450 EF:58 EB:135 ET:0 EL:0 AF:3/1 ] 9/14/2012 - 11:02 PM Local Options hash (VER=V4): '22188c5b' 9/14/2012 - 11:02 PM Expected Remote Options hash (VER=V4): 'a8f55717' 9/14/2012 - 11:02 PM UDPv4 link local: [undef] 9/14/2012 - 11:02 PM UDPv4 link remote: 95.211.191.33:443 9/14/2012 - 11:03 PM TLS Error: TLS key negotiation failed to occur within 60 seconds (check your network connectivity) 9/14/2012 - 11:03 PM TLS Error: TLS handshake failed 9/14/2012 - 11:03 PM TCP/UDP: Closing socket 9/14/2012 - 11:03 PM SIGUSR1[soft,tls-error] received, process restarting 9/14/2012 - 11:03 PM Restart pause, 2 second(s) 9/14/2012 - 11:03 PM NOTE: OpenVPN 2.1 requires '--script-security 2' or higher to call user-defined scripts or executables 9/14/2012 - 11:03 PM LZO compression initialized 9/14/2012 - 11:03 PM Control Channel MTU parms [ L:1558 D:138 EF:38 EB:0 ET:0 EL:0 ] 9/14/2012 - 11:03 PM Socket Buffers: R=[8192->8192] S=[8192->8192] 9/14/2012 - 11:03 PM Data Channel MTU parms [ L:1558 D:1450 EF:58 EB:135 ET:0 EL:0 AF:3/1 ] 9/14/2012 - 11:03 PM Local Options hash (VER=V4): '22188c5b' 9/14/2012 - 11:03 PM Expected Remote Options hash (VER=V4): 'a8f55717' 9/14/2012 - 11:03 PM UDPv4 link local: [undef] 9/14/2012 - 11:03 PM UDPv4 link remote: 95.211.191.33:443 9/14/2012 - 11:04 PM TLS Error: TLS key negotiation failed to occur within 60 seconds (check your network connectivity) 9/14/2012 - 11:04 PM TLS Error: TLS handshake failed 9/14/2012 - 11:04 PM TCP/UDP: Closing socket 9/14/2012 - 11:04 PM SIGUSR1[soft,tls-error] received, process restarting 9/14/2012 - 11:04 PM Restart pause, 2 second(s) 9/14/2012 - 11:04 PM NOTE: OpenVPN 2.1 requires '--script-security 2' or higher to call user-defined scripts or executables 9/14/2012 - 11:04 PM LZO compression initialized 9/14/2012 - 11:04 PM Control Channel MTU parms [ L:1558 D:138 EF:38 EB:0 ET:0 EL:0 ] 9/14/2012 - 11:04 PM Socket Buffers: R=[8192->8192] S=[8192->8192] 9/14/2012 - 11:04 PM Data Channel MTU parms [ L:1558 D:1450 EF:58 EB:135 ET:0 EL:0 AF:3/1 ] 9/14/2012 - 11:04 PM Local Options hash (VER=V4): '22188c5b' 9/14/2012 - 11:04 PM Expected Remote Options hash (VER=V4): 'a8f55717' 9/14/2012 - 11:04 PM UDPv4 link local: [undef] 9/14/2012 - 11:04 PM UDPv4 link remote: 95.211.191.33:443 Quote Share this post Link to post

Zeechsdd 0 Posted ... Same problem.. Except my OpenVPN logs folder is just empty and stays such have no idea how to check it sorry but it sounds exactly the same. No change to any settings, try to connect today and just sits on connecting screen. All servers. re-installed OpenVPN 2.2.2, tried the new Beta Openvpn with no change. Re-download airvpn client. Dont want to mess with much more since it was working perfectly just last night. Anyone made progress on this? Quote Share this post Link to post

jessez 3 Posted ... I'm having the same tls handshake error on all servers - TCP and UDP. The weird thing is, the status page shows a lot of users connected. https://airvpn.org/status/ Quote Share this post Link to post
Huisie 0 Posted ... I am also getting the TLS handshake error, no matter what server I try. I am using OpenVPN with .opvn files in config folder. Googling the error turned up several links suggesting that certificates needed to be updated. I downloaded the opvn files and certs again and installed them. Still no dice - same error. If it is a case of outdated certs, I find it surprising that anyone is connecting, according to the status page... Edit: I have also given the AirVPN GUI a try, but it doesn't connect either. Staff 9973 Posted ... Hello! We have had a major problem on one of our backend servers. The problem did not affect already established connections or the website, but it did prevent new connections. The failover system worked only partially . The problem has been now fixed, however we are still working on the system so please do not hesitate to contact us for any further issue.
