We are preparing a system to mitigate this problem, stay tuned in the next weeks.Currently you have some systems (with Air) to evade a lot of controls: connecting to port 53 UDP (all Air OpenVPN servers accept connection on 53 UDP), or (in countries/ISPs which do not block TOR) connecting Air over TOR.Another system is connecting Air over any public socks or http proxy which is not blocked, this system is currently quite effective.Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post

DPI can only understand that you're using OpenVPN, nothing else. In order to prevent even that, we'll be launching OpenVPN over SSL and over SSH in the next weeks, so that DPI will identify your traffic as "SSL" or "SSH", not OpenVPN.Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post
Baraka 32 Posted ... bad luck here on thousands filipino's here in the philippines who's relying on tor... Thank you for sharing this story with us. This is why Air's service is so vital to so many around the world. What was described is an absolutely horrifying, totalitarian experience which illustrates how governments are often the greatest proponents of censorship and terror.
