Eddie ignores blacklist/whitelist setting

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Can anyone help.

I've noticed that Eddie ignores the blacklist/whitelist setting.

I live in Belgium, and even though I've blacklisted the Netherlands and whitelisted Belgium, it constantly connects to a server in the Netherlands.

Can anyone help?

Refer to attached screenshot.

Thanks.,

Paul

Hello!

This *may* be resolved if you try update to the experimental/beta version of Eddie. Instructions can be found in my signature.

It's possible that behavior happens if after the black/whitelisting, that Eddie isn't closed via its own menus, but I'm not sure.

I agree that it ignores the lists. It has been doing that for as long as I’ve been using Eddie. Forget about the beta version, it’s a long-standing bug.

Hello!

Not reproducible so far. Can you provide all the details about your exact Operating System and the precise steps to reproduce the issue?

Kind regards

I live in USA and I'm also having this problem. Eddie always favors Canadian and Netherlands servers on both my Win8 PC at home and Win10 laptop at work. Tried whitelisting all US servers, and blacklisting all other servers, but it always resets when I restart Eddie. Any fix for this?
I use Ethernet cable at home, and WiFi at work.
