j19 0 Posted ... I recently updated from Eddie 2.10 (which always functioned fine) to the newest version of Eddie which is proving to be somewhat of a nightmare. Whenever the Mac goes into energy saving mode, the wifi connection is apparently interrupted. This happens every time the screen turns black, I close the lid or hibernate the computer. When turning the screen back on (by pressing a key, opening the lid etc) the computer isn't able to connect to wifi anymore and Eddie is stuck in a loop where it tries to connect, fails, etc. The only solution is to close Eddie by clicking quit, which brings the wifi connection back, even though I still cannot connect. This means that even without Eddie running (after having closed it properly) I am still not able to connect to the internet. Only when I reopen Eddie and connect to a VPN server, I am able to connect to the internet. This is terribly annoying and I've been doing this many times a day. I read in another topic that this is related to DNS-issues and I should change my DNS server. In any case, in my opinion this is a bug and it's extremely annoying! Quote Share this post Link to post
