AI74462 0 Posted ... I have been using Open VPN specifically for Android devices and it has worked well on my Shield, Fire TV and other platforms. I have recently switched over to the Eddie client 2.0.1 and am attempting to use it on the 4k firestick, fire tv and regular firestick. I don't like the Quick Connect so I use a profile. Regardless of which one I use AIRVPN starts....I verify the connection by going to Ipleak.net. I then exit the program (with the VPN still running) and launch another service to watch TV.....the VPN only lasts about 10-15 minutes before it resorts back to the IP address of my provider.....which I verify by going to IPleak.net again. Is there something I haven't enabled in the settings that's causing this? I've changed the connection timeout to infinite and the Pause VPN when the screen is off to off. I would like this to run all the time until I turn it off like the Open VPN client does. I keep seeing a SYSTEM RESUME in the logs but it doesn't look like its resuming. Thanks. Can you please make sure that "Persistent notification" and "Persistent tunnel" options, in the "Settings" view, are both enabled? Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post

AI74462 0 Posted ... ""Persistent notification" and "Persistent tunnel" options, in the "Settings" view, are both enabled?" Thank you. I just checked. These are default enabled options that are already enabled. I did notice last night on the fire stick that the vpn pausing feature seems to work but on the 4k firestick it does not.
