Hi,

I use the website https://ipleak.net/#webrtcleak.

At the top left I see:
Netherlands
AirVPN Server (Exit, Maasym)

It's OK.

But at the top right I see an IPV6 with my real countries.

At the middle of the page I see my location in France.

I see it:

  • Mozilla Firefox: Type "about:config” in the address bar. Scroll down to “media.peerconnection.enabled”, double click to set it to false.
  • Google Chrome: Install Google official extension WebRTC Network Limiter.

But the problem is that I do it, I restart the computer, but the problem is not fixed.

Regards,

If you are using Eddie, go to Preferences > Networking > Layer IPv6: Inside tunnel or Block, depending on whether you want to use IPv6 or not.

At the middle of the page I see my location in France.

In Firefox, open about:config and change the key geo.enabled to false. As I don't use Chromium, no idea about that.

And you don't need to restart the computer. It works in Firefox instantaneously and you restart only Chromium.

Try this and report back at your convenience.

chromium or firefox:

ublock origin, under setting tick disable webrtc

firefox:

geo.enabled = false
geo.wifi.uri = "" (leerer String)
browser.search.geoip.timeout = 1

en: this setting is important if you are behind a proxy or VPN service provider
de: Diese Einstellung ist wichtig, wenn man die eigene IP-Adresse mit Anonymisierungsdiensten oder VPNs versteckt.

Chromium:
chrome://settings/content/location

Hello!

Is this happening while using Eddie with Network Lock enabled?

Moderators do not speak on behalf of AirVPN. Only the Official Staff account does. Please also do not run Tor Exit Servers behind AirVPN, thank you.
