Raspberry Pi3 as VPN access point

I want to have my Pi3 act as a WiFi access point with any client that connects to it getting all their traffic routed through Air (or another provider). I have seen guides to get the pi to be an access point but not one that is also a vpn. Is there a way? Are there guides available.

I don't have a tutorial for you but its very simple. First you'll want to setup your openvpn client as a service (https://www.smarthomebeginner.com/guide-configure-openvpn-autostart-linux/). Then fallow https://github.com/SurferTim/documentation/blob/6bc583965254fa292a470990c40b145f553f6b34/configuration/wireless/access-point.md but instead of using

"sudo iptables -t nat -A  POSTROUTING -o eth0 -j MASQUERADE"

use

"sudo iptables -t nat -A  POSTROUTING -o tun0 -j MASQUERADE"

That should do the trick. Make sure "tun0" is the correct tunnel assignment being used with the "ifconfig" first. Hope that helps
