Staff 10014 Posted ... Hello! We're very glad to inform you that a new 1 Gbit/s server located in New York City (NY, USA) is available: Lich. The AirVPN client will show automatically this new server, while if you use the OpenVPN client you can generate all the files to access it through our configuration/certificates/key generator (menu "Client Area"->"Config generator").The server accepts connections on ports 53, 80, 443, 1194, 2018 UDP and TCP.Just like every other "second generation" Air server, Lich supports OpenVPN over SSL and OpenVPN over SSH, TLS 1.2 and tls-crypt.Full IPv6 support is included as well.As usual no traffic limits, no logs, no discrimination on protocols and hardened security against various attacks with separate entry and exit-IP addresses. You can check the server status as usual in our real time servers monitor:https://airvpn.org/servers/lichDo not hesitate to contact us for any information or issue.Kind regards and dataloveAirVPN Team 2 spinmaster and go558a83nk reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post
go558a83nk 364 Posted ... Much needed for it seems those northeast USA servers are often quite loaded. Thanks! Quote Share this post Link to post
airflim00 0 Posted ... Just noticed Lich today, much appreciated! As the previous poster noted, the USA NJ/PA servers are frequently heavily stressed. Toronto servers are often a good alternative but can run into region restriction/localization problems, so Lich should really help ease the load for NE US traffic. Quote Share this post Link to post
atelier23 2 Posted ... I wish we could get another one in Chicago / Detroit area. On a side note, how come Netherlands has all 5 star reviews under Eddie VPN but USA has no 5 star reviews, when I boot up the Eddie Client... Quote Share this post Link to post
