Ubuntu Eddie interface dark screen on "hide main window"

when I click hide main window  it stays on the desktop which is annoying can't make it disappear

 

when I press show interface the normal interface shows up just fine

Same for me on Ubuntu 18.10 (fresh install).  It's pretty anoying.

The temporary solution is to configure everything you want first and then check "start minimized",  "show in tray" and "minimize in tray" (I don't remember but I think it's that).

When you will launch Eddie, It'll be in tray without the black interface showing. The problem is that you'll have to do everything within this icon because if you want to show the interface, you will not be able to minize in tray again...
