DNS not resolving external sites on Algedi

I am connected to London Algedi (UDP 443) OpenVPN at router level. I have the WAN DNS primary set to 10.4.0.1 however I cannot resolve DNS for any sites other than airvpn.org. After changing to a different server (Andromeda NL) there are no issues. Is this an internal issue with that AirVPN server?

Note I actually route my DNS locally through a Raspberry Pi running pihole (via AirVPN internal DNS), although I don't think there is an issue with pihole in this case.
