Premiers gestes de secours

Recommended Posts

First of all, I think your problems have appeared just after the update of Kaspersky. Indeed, I had the same.

A ticket has been opened about it and I propose a temporary solution which is not the best one: https://airvpn.org/topic/27526-kaspersky-anti-virus-19001088a-conflict/ It is just a temprary solution until a patch from Kaspersky.

Secondly, I don't see what do you mean by the proxy server. Indeed, Eddie doesn't use any proxy servers. So, is a private or company proxy?

Third, if you want to see if you have a leak on your connection, you need to analyze your connection with a specilaized tool (as Wireshark for example). But, this is only if you are an expert. Normally, if you activate the Network lock in Eddie (Airvpn program), your connection will not leak.

But maybe you mean Webrtc leaks. In this case, you can go to this website: https://ipleak.net/

It will give you your visible ip adress and tell you if it comes from Airvpn : AirVPN Exit Node (which should be in green if everything is ok)

It will also tell you if you have a Webrtc leak: Your IP addresses - WebRTC detection (which shouln't be the case)

If you have any question, don't hesitate to answer (in English please).

Best regards

OK sorry for my answer in french. For the problem about risk of leaking connection, I will activate the Network lock in Eddie (Airvpn program). That's the best, you are right. But when my vpn connection wil be closed, my wifi connection will automatiquelly come back ?

Thank you for your answer

You will have to disable the Network lock option when the Air VPN connection is closed in order to use again your wireless connection. Otherwise, Internet acess will be impossible.
