Smartphone Data Shredder

Do any of you know a good smartphone data shredding app? Something that can make the data on the device harder to recover. I was reading at article that police in the UK are looking at phone data without warrants these days. Just want to be prepared if that starts happening in the United States.

Im not an expert but as far as i know, recovering data from new devices is almost impossible.

I have tried Dr.fone and other apps that claim they recover data for both android and iphone i wasnt able to recover anything ;(

if anybody knows a program to recover contacts from a note5 and photos from an iphone 7 pls share it
