saveme 0 Posted ... I had faced trouble of email attacks, most of them end up in spam. But, if someone sends me an email with malware (possibly a pdf), If I have by mistake open that. Would that result in information leakage ? Even if I use Air VPN ? Quote Share this post Link to post
LZ1 672 Posted ... Hello! The answer would need to be "No it won't help you, but it depends on what malware you get, if information is leaked or not", because Air cannot protect you from yourself and doesn't intend to either . So if your system is compromised, then Air cannot help you. I recommend you take different precautions. Which could include: Using a new and clean email address, so you don't get as many of those bad emails. Using different software, which may be less susceptible to attack.Changing your habits/being more careful.Keeping more than one email address, to keep things separated more.Generally keeping software up to date.Researching methods of staying safe.
