oroboros 0 Posted ... I have been using Eddie 2.11.5 (Windows 10, portable, 64bit) for a while now, and Network Lock works fine. I just installed Eddie 2.13.6 (Windows 10, portable, 64bit), and Network Lock no longer works. Instead I get the error message (see attached screenshot): Windows WFP, Add rule failed: App not found: <rule name="NetLock - Allow Eddie" layer="ale_auth_recv_accept_v4" ... etc. Settings on both versions are the same: Mode Automatic, Allow lan/private, Allow ping, no Addresses allowed. I even tried swaping AirVPN.xml files to see if that would work, but it still doesn't. Share this post Link to post
LZ1 672 Posted ... Hello! Then please try the experimental client, as that error looks similar to one which got fixed in 2.14.2. Instructions on where to find it can be found in my signature. Clodo 176 Posted ... I'm using the portable version, from a network drive.Confirmed bug. Eddie have some issue on network \\ path. Copy to local disk, or map the network path on a disk letter, or wait a new release that fix this issue. Thanks for the report. 2 LZ1 and encrypted reacted to this Share this post Link to post
MersennePrime 1 Posted ... Since I had similar problems that I could finally solve: Do you use the Bitdefender engine (any Bitdefender security product, Bullguard, and probably some more)? Once I uninstalled Bitdefender, any error messages I received concerning Eddie went away! Everything works fine with Windows Defender/Firewall or ESET Internet Security or Avast free antivirus + Voodooshield. Share this post Link to post
