Lightn1ng 2 Posted ... Hello, I am running Gentoo Linux ~amd64 and installed the Eddie dependencies and downloaded the portable version. When I log in and connect, it connects for 1 second, then instantly disconnects and tries a different server. This goes on until I close the program. There is nothing weird in Eddie's log: lightn1ng@gentooi5 ~/Downloads/eddie-ui_2.13.6_linux_x64_portable $ sudo ./airvpn I 2018.03.02 18:38:40 - Eddie version: 2.13.6 / linux_x64, System: Linux, Name: This is \n.\O (\s \m \r) \t, Version: Linux gentooi5 4.15.7-gentoo-r1-lightn1ng #1 SMP Fri Mar 2 17:39:57 EST 2018 x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6500 CPU @ 3.20GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux, Mono/.Net Framework: v4.0.30319 . 2018.03.02 18:38:40 - Reading options from /home/lightn1ng/Downloads/eddie-ui_2.13.6_linux_x64_portable/AirVPN.xml . 2018.03.02 18:38:40 - Command line arguments (0): I 2018.03.02 18:38:41 - OpenVPN Driver - Found, /dev/net/tun I 2018.03.02 18:38:41 - OpenVPN - Version: 2.4.3 - OpenSSL 1.0.2l 25 May 2017, LZO 2.10 (/home/lightn1ng/Downloads/eddie-ui_2.13.6_linux_x64_portable/openvpn) I 2018.03.02 18:38:41 - SSH - Version: OpenSSH_7.6p1lpk, OpenSSL 1.0.2n 7 Dec 2017 (/usr/bin/ssh) I 2018.03.02 18:38:41 - SSL - Version: stunnel 5.40 (/home/lightn1ng/Downloads/eddie-ui_2.13.6_linux_x64_portable/stunnel) I 2018.03.02 18:38:41 - curl - Version: 7.58.0 (/usr/bin/curl) I 2018.03.02 18:38:41 - Certification Authorities: /home/lightn1ng/Downloads/eddie-ui_2.13.6_linux_x64_portable/cacert.pem . 2018.03.02 18:38:41 - Updating systems & servers data ... ! 2018.03.02 18:38:42 - Ready . 2018.03.02 18:38:42 - Systems & servers data update completed I 2018.03.02 18:38:47 - Session starting. It looks like Gentoo Linux puts the file in /bin rather than /sbin. Creating a symbolic link with: sudo ln -sv /bin/ip /sbin/ip fixed it instantly. Thanks! 1 LZ1 reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post
