You can try going to your Control Panel>Network & Internet and then disabling and then re-enabling the TAP adapter. That used to work for me back then. You may also try going into the properties and un-checking IPv6 protocol, as well as making sure the TAP adapter is set to Obtain addresses automatically in both fields.
