I get a "whoops something went wrong" warning. But the mobile site seems to work. This happens on multiple servers in America and Canada(on Heze right now)

I get a "whoops something went wrong" warning. But the mobile site seems to work. This happens on multiple servers in America and Canada(on Heze right now)

 

Macy's site itself is not blocking VPN traffic. It may be blocking sanctioned countries, but not VPNs. I am able to access the site while on AirVPN Canada servers and likely other countries such as USA, etc.

 

Try clearing cookies and temp files/cache in the web browser. Some sites that return such errors also require their domain cookies to be enabled, at least, for the session. In addition, javascript being blocked by security suite tracking blockers and/or a web browser add-on/extensions like No Script, Ghostery, UBlock, UMatrix and others can also affect site access.

 

There is also consideration to try an In-Private, Private or Incognito browser window when accessing the site. The selection is usually available from the browser options/settings menu.
