Recommended Servers / Countries for BitTorrent from EU

Hey folks,

 

as far as I know the NL servers where the recommended ones for using Bittorrent so far.

 

I'd like to ask whether or not that has changed. 

 

 

Are there recommended servers or countries for torrenting from within the EU?

Hi,

 

AirVPN doesn't discriminate against Bittorrent so you can use it on any server.

There's this rule amongst VPN users that says "don't use a server in your own country". But it's in the case the authorities seize the server you were connected to but since AirVPN doesn't log, use this rule if you want.

 

Speaking of seizure, if you can you should avoid using UK servers since authorities are very pro-active when it comes to DMCA/file sharing/copyright violations.

It'd make AirVPN's job easier.

I don't think there's realistically any *recommended* ones really. It depends on your own preferences and circumstances, as they're all treated equally by Air

 

It's more important that you configure your client(s) correctly, rather than which Air node you connect to. In terms of security, at least.
