Okay, so basically, I want to host a server for a game, but the game requires port 53640 to be open. I tried to do this, however, it is tooken by another user. On another forum, Somebody said to leave the remote port blank and just fill in the local port. Will this open the port for me or not?

What router do you use? I use Asus and I can forward Airvpn port (example 45233) to internal port (for your case 53640). I'm not sure about other routers as I'm not very technical about them.

Yes, you can map external to different internal port.  But, the problem is if your game software can't notify users what external IP address and port to which to connect.  Do your friends just connect manually?
