Your speeds are expected in this case, a 400 MHz CPU is not nearly good enough for achieving good speeds with constant AES-256 encryption/decryption. OpenSourcerer 1442 Posted ... RasPi is even less recommendable because ARM processors are Reduced Instruction Set CPUs ("RISC"), therefore they do specific tasks very good. OpenVPN is not one of them. Many users around here like to build a pfSense/opnSense box as a replacement for routers. You need knowledge about this stuff or a very good guide for this, though.
