Asthen 0 Posted ... Hello, I'm encountering some issues with the DNS phase that keep running again and again. I found a topic that propose to disable "check AIR VPN DNS" so i did that but when i try to log on a server, lets say english for exemple. I use https://ipleak.net/ to check to see if it is working and whatever server i pick, it keep telling me i'm in netherland. I would like to understand why this is happening and why do i have to disable in setting to make this work ? I often get kind of issues with DNS phase and the one with "check if the tunnel work" that i disabled aswell. I'm not sure to understand the technical aspects as i'm kind of a beginner in this field compare to the knowledge i can see around here. As the title say, i'm on OS X, i downloaded the last version of eddie, i tried different servers but none of them work without disabling what i said. Sorry for my english and i hope i was clear enough. Don't hesitate to ask me questions for the obscure parts. Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post
watkinsfarm 0 Posted ... Also having this issue. Checking route don't match. Disconnect, reconnect, checking route don't match. Over and over and no connection. I have the latest Eddie. This problem occurs every other day. On days it occurs, I have to forgo VPN. Hoping someone has a viable solution. Quote Share this post Link to post

If the problem persists please try the following setup in Eddie (preferably 2.12.4): - untick "Check if the tunnel works" in "AirVPN" > "Preferences" > "Advanced"- untick "Check Air VPN DNS" in "AirVPN" > "Preferences" > "DNS"- untick "Enable Pinger / Latency tests" in "AirVPN" > "Preferences" > "Advanced"- enable Network Lock Please feel free to keep us posted. In Ubuntu 17, NetworkManager might be configured to modify frequently resolv.conf and overwrites changes made by Eddie. Make sure to disable this feature by adding in /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf the following line in the [main] section: dns=noneKind regards Quote Share this post Link to post
Asthen 0 Posted ... Is it normal to have to disable all these things to make it work ? Doesn't it change some things that can cause issues ? Because if these weren't needed, why do they exist ? Quote Share this post Link to post
