ANSWERED Eddie keeps restarting on Debian Jessie

Hi,

 

Just switched back to Debian and downloaded the latest Eddie client and cannot get it to work, I keep getting a restart with the error message “the authentication or encryption has failed.” Any idea how to resolve this?

I'm not entirely sure I follow: for example, do I need to add something before doing this ([sudo] apt-get install mono-devel)? I'm fairly noobish when it comes to Linux.

Just type this in a terminal window:

sudo apt-get install mono-devel
