LZ1 672 Posted ... Hello! Did you try the standard version? It works on Linux Mint 18. It could sound like there's a problem with the other versions of 2.11.10. Staff 9973 Posted ... Hello! We can confirm that the portable version will not run, please use the portable version (requiring Mono) or the .deb package if you have a Debian derivative system (Ubuntu, Mint etc.), or the .rpm package for openSUSE and Fedora. EDIT: Problem fixed, Eddie 2.11.10 (new) portable version runs fine. Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post
Pepetops 0 Posted ... I have tried using the latest experimental version 2.11.10 (deb file passed to rpm with alien) and it does not work for me. It is continuously disconnected from the vpn server. I'm back to 2.11.9 Quote Share this post Link to post

I'm back to 2.11.9 It looks irrelevant to this thread. If so, please don't hijack. If not, feel free to go on. A question: why converting .deb to .rpm when we already provide an rpm package by default, any specific reason (something wrong in the rpm?)? Quote Share this post Link to post
Pepetops 0 Posted ... Why? Is so easy... Your rpm package doesn't works on my distro, and this is the reason why I convert your deb packages, and I have no problem with this... I do this since two or three versions ago, I don't know if now is necessary to do it, but it's become a routine for me Enviado desde mi Nexus 5 mediante Tapatalk Quote Share this post Link to post

Pepetops 0 Posted ... Opensuse Tumbleweed... It's a rolling release version Well, I try again with rpm directly and the result is the same: It doesn't works. This is a picture about the log I see when run Eddie (from root): And this is I see with no score and big latency servers:If I run it like root, I see this: But from normal user, using kdesud (sudo doesn't work) I can't see Activate Networkk Lock.Well, this also happens in previous versions... Staff 9973 Posted ... @sarum4an It looks correct, "script-security" directive has a missing parameter. Who inserted that wrong directive? Check your custom directives. Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post
sarum4n 4 Posted ... I'll check, but it's the same directive I pass to Eddie 2.11.9, and it works great with that former version. Did it change something under the hood regarding the management of directives by Eddie? Quote Share this post Link to post
