ANSWERED Another question regarding speed

Using tunnelblick on macOS sierra.  I'm hardwired into a gigabit fiber connection and just can't get more than 90mb/s.  Is there anything I can do to increase speed, or am I pushing the limitations of the network?  Can I connect to 3 servers simultaneously in order to get more throughput?  Any advice is appreciated.

Try the official client and 256kb buffers in the advanced section.

The client with the 256k buffers boosts speeds to about 170Mb/s.  Definitely a better result.  Are there any other optimizations I can try in order to get closer to my actual line speed?

The ~200Mbit speed on a single core OpenVPN process is a CPU limit on most machines. These are the best speeds you will see in the top 10 statistics page.
