Port forwarding for Deluge daemon on Linux

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to get the Deluge daemon (deluged) to work with AirVPN on Linux. I'm using Deluge 1.3.13 and Openvpn 2.3.14.

I forwarded port 14447 via client configuration with TCP & UDP and local port 58846 (what Deluge uses). I have attached my core.conf to this post. I disabled UPnP and NAT-PMP, and put listening port as 14447. However, upload speed is constant 0. Downloading seems to work, however.

What do I need to change to get seeding working?

You don't need to open port 58846, it's just the deamon. Forward port 14447 in Deluge, add this port here in your client area and you should good to go. Im running openvpn on my router and I need only to portforwarding in Deluge and in the client area. It's not necessary to open the port in the router. Check in the client area, if the port is open, green circle and check also in the Deluge gtk client in the networking tab. If all are green, the problem is somewhere else.
