ganga 0 Posted ... Hi, I recently moved from Windows Xp to Windows 7 and I'm getting slow speeds when using AirVPN, and random disconnects. I'm not sure if I have any kind of misconfiguration. My ISP connection has 12MB download/3MB upload. When using Eddie client in Windows XP I got almost the same speed as my ISP.Now in Windows 7, when connected to AirVPN, the upload speed is similar, but the download goes only between 4MB and 6MB. If i switch AirVPN off the speeds go back to normal. I'm also seeing a lot of random disconnects, like an unstable connection. The AirVPN speed doesn't show better resultsDown: 2.685 Mbit/s Out, 2.243 Mbit/s In (83%), 10MB - Up: 1.822 Mbit/s Out, 1.129 Mbit/s In (61%), 10MB - Date: Wed, 07 Dec 2016 12:50:19 GMT - Buffers: 10MB/10MB - Laps: 3, Time: 568.27 secs This are the results I get for example with SpeedTest webpage (http://beta.speedtest.net/?noflash=1)Without VPNDownload 11.82Upload 3.28Ping 10ms With AirVPNDownload 4.75Upload 3.17Ping 373 I must say that I'm using the same servers I used in the past (Swiss servers), i have firewall completely off (just in case there was problem with it), and i already set the buffer size in 256kb in Eddie client. I tried both with the last stable release (2.10.3) and the experimental one (2.11.9). And the network drivers are in their last version. Is there anything else I can try? I've noticed in the past week some irregularities with the AirVPN software too (random disconnects and slow speeds) and for the past 4 days, the speeds are down to almost nothing (I get lucky to received 100Kps). I tried the speed test from my modem and get full speed (gigabit internet) but the speed test through this website shows there's something wrong. I'm working with windows 7 too so maybe it's an update that broke the AirVPN application? Down: 0.000 Mbit/s Out, NaN Mbit/s In (NaN%), 1MB - Up: 0.000 Mbit/s Out, NaN Mbit/s In (NaN%), 1MB - Date: Thu, 08 Dec 2016 04:44:08 GMT - Buffers: 1MB/1MB - Laps: 3, Time: 3.71 secsDown: 0.000 Mbit/s Out, NaN Mbit/s In (NaN%), 1MB - Up: 0.000 Mbit/s Out, NaN Mbit/s In (NaN%), 1MB - Date: Thu, 08 Dec 2016 04:44:32 GMT - Buffers: 1MB/1MB - Laps: 3, Time: 3.61 secs On my end, switching AirVPN off simply cuts off my internet connection with my computer.
