Just bought a year subscription exactly week ago :/ I love a service and it's by far the coolest VPN provider I ever tried (and tried quite a few) so can't say I regret but it kinda hurts, especially my wallet.

Maybe if you ask the Air support reaaaallllyyyyy nicely, they can help you out ^=^. Who knows, maybe they'll be like "hm, we'll implement a one week "grace period" for people who sub up very close to a sale. Haha. Anyhow, you can be proud you contributed so much to the service! Not like the rest of these stingy people

Sent to you from me with datalove

Nah, it would be sorta awkward to ask. I can live with it, hope they'll do good use of that money haha.

Just need to remember about black friday next year though.

First they came for the terrorists, then they came for the child molesters, then they came for the copyright avoiders, then they came for the porn fans, then ...

"As part of its mission creep, the government is also pushing for the BBFC regulator to have the power to tell ISPs to block content that isn't pornographic. It states:

The steps that may be specified or arrangements that may be put in place under subsection (2) © include steps or arrangements that will or may also have the effect of preventing persons in the United Kingdom from being able to access material other than the offending material using the service provided by the Internet service provider."

"And the bill already makes it clear that the government wants to go after "infringing sites" by choking their access to payment providers such as Visa and PayPal, ..."

Not in the Brit livestock, but what China calls "internet sovereignty" is spreading. So prudent to be paid up for another year just in case payment monitoring or blocking of VPNs is added to the powers that be.

Thanks AirVpn staff. This is highly appreciated. Especially, since not everybody has sufficient resources to pay for privacy protection !

Renewed earlier this afternoon and now I'm paid up for the next 736 days. A great big THANK YOU to AirVPN for the generous discount, and for providing a very important service.

Not that the cyber privacy war by the surveillance state against internet users wasn't already in full gear, but this proposed legislation shows that the offensive is cranking up to a new level. I've thought about this since Snowden's revelations and my prediction is this will come to an all out war between privacy hacktivist groups like Anonymous (and others we don't even know exist) and every government working every second to permanently take away our online privacy rights.

This may sound naive to the reader when you consider the seemingly bottomless resources of the government/corporate surveillance state, but..... I'm placing my hope and faith in privacy hactivist organizations to bring the offending entities to their knees, if that's what it takes. If we should lose this fight then at least we must go down swinging with everything we've got. I'm convinced the privacy advocates are on the side of right.

I don't know your platform details, but do try different servers and protocols .

Wel i think i found my speed problem. My Asus RT-AC68U router is connected to the airvpn server so that all my devices have to go through the tunnel. Then i have speeds around 8Mbits/sec wich i kinda slow. When i connect my laptop to the same server  (bypassing router) i get speeds around 40Mbits/sec wich is much better (my ISP is 50Mbits/s).

Very strange because when i look at the load of the CPU of my router there is almost no activity when i am using the vpn tunnel.

Any reason why this happens?

Regards
