Eddie must be started as admin: sudo airvpn2. You need the Mono framework installed. How exactly did you manage to install it yourself? g4kkeg86gGJJf 0 Posted ... Hi mate, thanks for the reply! Sorry how would i go about getting these logs? For eddie, I just D/L the files, extracted them and then double clicked AIRVPN icon, thats when i got this message. So do i have to install the mono framework, then run Eddie from the command line instead? Been digging around trying to find instructions or tips but havent really got anywhere. Cheers bud ... OpenSourcerer 1416 Posted ... Sorry how would i go about getting these logs? Not sure where you can view them. Is there anything in /var/log? Maybe /var/log/openvpn, or some other directory of network-manager? Maybe someone else can help you more on this. For eddie, I just D/L the files, extracted them and then double clicked AIRVPN icon, thats when i got this message. Does not sound like you downloaded the .deb file but the portable tar. I'd recommend downloading the Debian package, installing it with sudo dpkg -i airvpn-linux-x64.deb, then running sudo apt-get -f install. After that, Eddie is available via sudo airvpn or in the desktop of your choice. Quote Hide OpenSourcerer's signature Hide all signatures NOT AN AIRVPN TEAM MEMBER. OpenSourcerer 1416 Posted ... cannot access archive: No such file or directory I should've written that I don't remember the exact name of the package... but I also hoped you would know how to find out the package name yourself. Hint: ls. No offense but the rest should be logical, try to think. Quote Hide OpenSourcerer's signature Hide all signatures NOT AN AIRVPN TEAM MEMBER. USE TICKETS FOR PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT. pr1v 36 Posted ... Easy way:- Download the experimental version of Eddie. Click on "Other versions" and choose "Experimental". Of course choose 64 bits if it's your machine.Once downloaded, open the folder and right click on the icon of the program (Eddie deb file) and choose the first option: to open with the Software Installer. It will ask for your password and a new window will be opened to install it. Click, wait and done. Quote Share this post Link to post
