SDBF 22 Posted ... Anyone have opinions on FrootVPN? That's where I came from. Was able to get with them when they first started and got over a year free and then started paying. I didn't have any complaints but after reviewing a number of other possible VPN's, I decided Air was where I wanted to be. Just started and love it but thought I would see what the view was of Froot. LZ1 674 Posted ... Hello! They have a pretty sexy website haha. I wonder if they're using VPS', as their job section speaks of adding a Linux admin who can set up servers. They also offer up insecure protocols like PPTP. Strange that they say they have 4 server locations, yet they also display much more than 4 flags - perhaps 4 locations from which they fake the remaining servers lol? They also do IPv6, ooooo. Apparently they're based in Sweden, so that's not the worst xD. Quote Hide LZ1's signature Hide all signatures Hi there, are you new to AirVPN? Many of your questions are already answered in this guide. You may also read the Eddie Android FAQ. Moderators do not speak on behalf of AirVPN. Only the Official Staff account does. Please also do not run Tor Exit Servers behind AirVPN, thank you. Did you make a guide or how-to for something? Then contact me to get it listed in my new user guide's Guides Section, so that the community can find it more easily. Share this post Link to post
SDBF 22 Posted ... Thought I would post back in this thread that I started when I first started using AirVPN. For anyone trying to decide which VPN to use and maybe have Froot on their list of options, I will say cross them off and pick AirVPN. I was with Froot for a good while and now after using AirVPN for just little under 3 months I can say that its no contest at all. AirVPN blows Froot out of the water. And I didn't hate Froot, but I would a lot of times where I couldn't get it to connect and work right away and over time that got annoying. AirVPN just works every time, all of the time. At most I may have to pick a different server than the one I chose first(rarely) but that takes a few seconds at most. The Network lock feature has been very nice as way to allow me to not worry about the VPN disconnecting. Froot did that a lot and with no Network lock it was aggravating to know that unless you kept checking every 2 minutes you could be out in the open. Speed thru AirVPN are fantastic and it's nice to have so many options to choose from if I need more speed than the server I'm using at the moment. All in all, AirVPN is who I recommend to anyone when asked and while I know there are many choices of other VPN's to choose from that I've never used, for me, see no reason to even consider anyone other than AirVPN as long as they keep their VPN like it is as far as their Mission statement goes. 1 LZ1 reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post

As this is AirVPN forum I dont expectto promote the other two services but maybe cons, why not to use them. Thank you. Quote Share this post Link to post

I hope you're aware that AirVPN doesn't do a canary and have given their reasons for not doing so already in the past. Quote Share this post Link to post
