Tor-->VPN Linux CLI and CentOS Client Issues

Two different topics in the same post since I can only make a single post a day. Sorry.

 

First, what is the proper way to set the.ovpn configuration  file in order to enable VPN through Tor? I have  attempted using 127.0.0.1 as the SOCKS proxy but that has not worked. Maybe it has something to  do with the control port?

 

Second, I have been able to get Eddie started on CentOS 7, but for some reason, Eddie does not connect to any server. I used all default settings once, and then disabled DNS check. Posting relevant log below:

If any advancements have been made in either issues, I would greatly appreciate any news - even if it's bad news.
