Hi. I purchased AirVPN a few weeks ago. Love it, works great on my desktop. Today I installed it on my laptop. Now, it won't work. It won't pass the whole DNS checking process, so I disabled checking it, and now when it connects it won't pass info through. Being on the Overview tab it says my download is 0b/s, however my Upload is working fine.

Also, AirVPN works perfectly fine on my desktop, which is on the same wifi as my laptop.

Hello !

Some logs would be nice regardless .

You can also try disabling the checking of the Air tunnel, in conjunction with disabling the DNS check. Sometimes both are required. However some logs would still be nice. We like logs here. We eat them for breakfast see.

Moderators do not speak on behalf of AirVPN. Only the Official Staff account does. Please also do not run Tor Exit Servers behind AirVPN, thank you.

Do you have an ipblocker installed?  Maybe your blocking the VPN dns 10.4.0.1, 10.5.0.1, maybe 10.6.0.1

It's a brand new laptop. I've installed Tor, Firfox, AirVPN, and maybe a few other things that I like to use that are also on my desktop. I am updating my laptop right now, my desktop is v 1607 Windows 10 but my laptop is 1511.

Here are some suggestions I would try if I were you.

Make sure your firewall on your router isn't blocking the AirVPN ip or your snort IDS isn't detecting any threats and blocking the connection.  Sometimes if you block bogon networks with an ipblocker it can jack up AirVPN after connection.

If your client connects, then the upload speed is pegged at 100 Mb/s, you aren't connecting. Maybe try switching ports to udp 80 to a known good AirVPN server.

or you might want to look at upgrading / downgrading the windows TAP drivers.

maybe disable ipv6. try to hook up with an Ethernet cord to the modem directly and try to connect to AirVPN.

FYI, TOR is not safe in windows since like 4 years ago, thank the NSA
