Hello !

Your client version is ancient. Please go to the download page and download the latest stable version, 2.10.3. That should fix it.

Moderators do not speak on behalf of AirVPN. Only the Official Staff account does. Please also do not run Tor Exit Servers behind AirVPN, thank you.

Thanks for posting your logs in spoilers.

Did you try setting all your network adapters, on IPv4, to "Obtain" DNS & IP addresses automatically? In addition, did you disable any network adapters you don't need (such as ones from Nvidia for instance or old TAP Drivers from other VPN providers). Also, there's a newer TAP driver you could try.

Moderators do not speak on behalf of AirVPN. Only the Official Staff account does. Please also do not run Tor Exit Servers behind AirVPN, thank you.

Are you using Network Lock or any 3rd party firewalls, by any chance? You said you disabled your firewall, but was that Windows firewall or a different one? If it's a 3rd party one, you can try to add AirVPN.exe & Openvpn.exe to the firewall exceptions list or restore your firewall rules to their default settings. Because by the looks of it, you should be connected. So perhaps it's some old firewall rules which are messed up.

I understand it sucks bro. But we'll surely work it out :]. So... To nitpick. Do you have the latest .Net framework required?

Or how about you try install the experimental version.

Or do you have any anti-virus software? If you do, you could try open it and find the exceptions list and put AirVPN.exe & OpenVPN.exe in the exceptions list.

I wonder if Preferences>General>Disable Tunnel check & General>DNS>Disable checking for AirVPN DNS would make a difference for you.

You can also try tracert by the way, instead of ping.

So if it's:

- Not your firewall

- Not your client

- Not your antivirus

- Not your TAP driver

- Not your .Net software

Could it be your router or ISP. Have you tried enabling Network Lock though? While your Windows Firewall is on as well. Sometimes it can make a difference, depending on if it's on or not.

Also, you can browse when you're not using the VPN, right? Maybe you could also try going to Preferences>Protocols and trying out different protocols, such as an SSL tunnel or alternative

entry IPs. Might as well, you don't have anything to lose at this point lol.

I'm with Telekom, and someday I noticed my torrent speed over conventional udp/443 dropped. I switched to udp/53, no problems so far. As LZ1 wrote, you could do the same and try connections via udp/53, 80, 2018. If it doesn't work, try tcp/443 once. If still no, try ssl/443. You don't have to use the alternative entry IPs, they're good for another thing.

Next thing I personally find very important because it just works for me: Server choise based on BGP routes. Direct routes are always the best for me. For Telefonica/O2-DE, try using the following servers in order of preference:

  • Kitalpha, CH
  • Naos, GB
  • Zuben, CZ
  • Mekbuda, ES

I really recommend Kitalpha. Great server, great hoster.
