Paying with coinbase

I notice that bitcoincodes no longer exists and it appears that the new polular way to purchase a subscription via bitcoin is by using Coinbase. After reading a few threads I am a bit confused on how to use this service. Is there a tutorial on how to best use Coinbase with as many layers of anonymity as possible?

With CoinBase and with Bitcoincodes you can transfer directly from your client to a BitCoin account, no need to open an account and/or keep a wallet with them.

Nevermind. I figured it out and was able to find the address that I need to send to. My confusion is that I thought I would need to pay via coinbase wallet.
