Did you try a simple reboot?

Alternatively try to disable and re-enable all other TAP adapters you might have on your system.

This might have happened if you have many other VPN clients (from other providers) installed, however

this issue only occurs on Windows, especially if you try to start the client with a non privileged,

for example a Guest or a corporate low-policy user.

go into Preferance - Advanced , Uninstall driver. shut down app

reboot pc

open app , connect (which in turn installs tap driver again)

should connect this time

if the issue happens again just keep uninstalling TAP driver. thats the most simple fix for me
