Hello,

I would like to know if AirVPN allows for example a gambling site to see that I am connected to a vpn?
Or if it is possible to hide it so that they get not detect that I'm on a vpn.

Thank you

This is a very theoretical question, as it largely depends on the site and the skills of the

admins that run it. Major companies like Netflix are trying to block VPNs but so far with

only partial success. There is no way to do it in 100% of the times.

You have a few options, either post the website here and some members might check it,

or you can connect to some less used AirVPN nodes (Latvia,Hong Kong, Spain) etc and

try on your own.

Again, your question is not very clear - there is no such thing as "Provider X allows a service

to see if it's a VPN or not". There is nothing in the network packets that tells a connection

is a VPN one or not, this largely matters upon what is written in the NETRANGE prefix and

how the various service treat it. For example, I don't like that fact that more than 80% of

the Netherlands servers put AirVPN as the SWIP data in the IP records. This is great for light

abuse handling and handing-over, but terrible for visiting services that datamine the IPv4 address

space for potential shared devices. This might mean very soon some services will know that those

ranges are related to a VPN service. But other ranges should be probably fine for now.

Do you even know what a VPN is?

I think he might have much bigger issues, either now or soon, more important than knowing what a VPN is.

No offense.

Hi guys,

is it possible to hide the use of VPN on https://alldebrid.com ?

I tried switching servers, but that doesn't work (or maybe I didn't tried the right one).

Use one of the latvian servers, as always they use the general IP database lookup, if the IP is set as a server they think you use a VPN but the latvian servers are all set as Residential.

Thank you, it works

How do I know if server is Residential or not?

Well 99% of servers is not Residential so it doesn't matter much, with AirVPN it is only the Latvian servers. But with non-AirVPN servers you can check it on ipleak.net
