Norton said that it has: treat: WS.reputation.1 and delete the instalation file. Please tell me what shoud i do... thanks

Just ignore it. For some reason Symantec thinks that if a file is not popular enough, it is OK to mark it as a threat.

And by popular it means that they collect all your files from your machine, as well as thousands of other users, checksum

them and upload to their servers, which is a privacy issue by itself, but using this feature is up to you.

Here is how you can install AirVPN over Norton's objection:

 

These directions apply to the xfinity version of Norton Security Suite; your task might be somewhat different in its details.

 

Launch Norton

 

 

Select History

 

 

Use the drop-down menu to select "Show Quarantine."

 

 

Click on the entry for airvpn file (mine is airvpn_windows_x64_installer.exe)

 

 

Click on Restore

 

 

The installer should now appear in the folder in which you intended to save it.
