If you are interested in a very long term connection then you should use something such as europe.vpn.airvpn.org and that will connect to the best server in Europe currently. If they replace all the servers, then that will still work. If you are in a situation where you must use an IP address, then you should choose servers that you know have been online for a very long time. My personal favourite is Nunki in the UK.
