Google Chrome Unusable

When connected to the VPN Google Chrome is so slow it's unsuable but other browsers are fine. I've completely re-installed Chrome (no extensions) but the problem persists. I'm using Windows 7 and Eddie with network lock enabled. Also, when Chrome is open it slows Firefox/IE down but when I close Chrome the other browsers start working again?

Using an older tap driver and it's all working perfectly. Excellent, thanks!
