rickjames 106 Posted ... Hit up https://ipleak.net/ <- its run by airvpn. Check what dns you're using + check for leaks.Could also be bad browser settings ect. There's a ton of posts in the forums on the various subjects that could cause this. Quote Share this post Link to post
Jinsong 5 Posted ... It's because geolocation is enabled in your browser. It's an opt-in feature, so normally the only way a that site can get that info is if you voluntarily allow the location service to have direct access to your GPS or WIFI data. Obviously, allowing geolocation to be turned on while using a VPN defeats the purpose, so I'd suggest disabling it. Chrome:Settings -> Show advanced settings -> Privacy -> Content Settings -> LocationSelect "Do not allow any site to track my physical location"Firefox:Open about:configSet geo.enabled to falseIE:Internet Options -> Privacy -> LocationCheck "Never allow websites to request your physical location" If you want to take it a step further, you could go into your Control Panel and disable all location services system-wide. It's in the "Location and Other Sensors" section, under Hardware and Sound. 1 produs reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post
