Zaroad 26 Posted ... Hi, I use a public AP which I believe it only allows http and https traffic because I am unable to connect to any VPN. I tried all ports on TCP and UDP and OpenVPN over SSH (failed to connect to ssh). I don't know how to setup OpenVPN over SSL on Android so that's because I didn't try it yet. Any suggestions? P.D: airvpn.org is blocked but airdns.org isn't. My ovpn has its server's IP on it. The AP is made by Cisco (who helped China to make the GFC). PPTP is also blocked. Greetings. Zaroad 26 Posted ... Of course. However *.airdns.org is not blocked. Quote Share this post Link to post
InactiveUser 188 Posted ... (edited) I think there are two scenarios here:1. the AP blocks on a protocol basis (anything other than HTTP/TLS/DNS on 80/443/53)2. the AP blocks AirVPN entry IPs. This is certainly possible, but somewhat unlikely IMHOUnless #2 is the case, you should be able to use OpenVPN over SSL. Are you able to do so on platforms other than Android?I have successfully tinkered with stunnel on Android: it's a bit fiddly to set up but definitely doable. I'll provide a tutorial soon (later this day or tomorrow). edit: see below Edited ... by sheivoko 1 Zaroad reacted to this Quote Hide InactiveUser's signature Hide all signatures all of my content is released under CC-BY-SA 2.0 Share this post Link to post
