Geo-Blocking Austria

I wanted to ask if there's any chance we could have a way around geo-blocking to austrian services? I know you won't make a server there because of the data retention laws, but I saw you have geo-hopping servers for other countries. if there was a way to make this happen I'd be very grateful.

There are some public broadcasters in Austria (e.g. ORF) which have very good free video-on-demand content and livestreams - but it's only available with an austrian IP.

I don't think that this is because of the data retention law in Austria. France has such laws too, and AIR has two servers there. Must be another reason, maybe staff could clarify on this...?

It could be for many reasons, for example there may not be a suitable provider, but I cannot say and the staff should comment.

Making your Austrian geo-restricted services are easier than adding servers in each country.

You have to open a support ticket for that with as much details as possible regarding the service.

 

 

Every user prefers server(s) in a country of his preference, I am sure that given enough time there

will be 200 requests, each one of them for a different country. It's impossible to serve all requests.

Would like to know whether this could be done as well - would like to get around geo-blocking for some services as well (mainly ORF TVthek).
