AirVPN disconnects/reconnects every 2 minutes

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I've been having some issues with establishing a continuous connection to servers using AirVPN. It has been working fine for some time but today the problems just seem to keep coming. Initially I got stuck at the "checking route" stage of the connection process, which I solved after a while by disabling the "Check if the tunnel effectively works" checkbox in preferences>advanced. Afterwards, I got to the "Checking DNS" stage but no further. I searched this forum a bit more and eventually bypassed the problem  by disabling the "Check if the tunnel use AirVPN DNS" option. These two actions allowed me to connect to the server, but the connection keeps restarting every two minutes for some reason.  Here are the logs:

I run on OS X Yosemite. Before I could just connect without disabling any settings and the VPN would stay connected, don't think I've changed anything. Any help is appreciated, I'm not very familiar with data communication.

Are you using the 2.9 version of the AirVPN client. It gave me problems too. Try upgrading to the experimental version 2.10. In the enter tab, click on "other versions" and click "experimenta.". The 2.10 version solved all my problems I was having and I have not had one problem with 2.10. It's worked like a charm.

Hope this helps!
