ANSWERED DD-WRT Problem

I followed the tutorial on https://airvpn.org/ddwrt/ , however some options are different or maybe outdated. Also I couldn't find anywhere help to fix my problem + my knowledge about networking is kinda limited.

 

Also I have a kinda different setup:

- Router 1 --> normally conntected by WAN to Internet

- Router 2 --> using DD-WRT in Repeater Mode, connected to Router 1, should tunnel all traffic through an AirVPN connection

 

My situation:

I can connect to Router 2 and access the internet (repeater mode works). Also the Router 2 VPN status shows connected + AirVPN customer page confirms this. However, I still have my right IP address and so the traffic is not using the VPN tunnel. I'm pretty sure it's some kind of routing problem and maybe someone can help me to tunnel all traffic from Router 2 through the VPN connection of AirVPN.

Why you don't configure the second router as "Client Bridge"? Which then will respect the routed configuration of your network.

Why you don't configure the second router as "Client Bridge"? Which then will respect the routed configuration of your network.

That was my mistake... I reset everything, changed it to "Client" and everything works as expected now
