Windows 8 BSOD Error

Tried loading AirVPN on a laptop with Windows 8.  All windows updates were loaded and I got DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION blue screen error.  My laptop ability to get onto the internet was halted too.  What can I do about this?  I'm novice to all of this and need some help.

Which client version causes this?
